When we recruit without a structure or process, we tend to favor candidates by our similarities. You will likely get along more with a candidate that has a similar background to yours.
But with standardized interviews, you’ll apply the ”may the best player win” motto. This is the fairest way of analyzing answers and choosing which candidate is the best, whether it’s a woman or a man.
Equal Payment
Women like feeling their work is valuable. The wage gap is so huge that it seems like men have special powers that women don’t. There are so many companies that pay men much more than women who do the same job. So, offering women equality in terms of payment will be a huge boost for them to accept that job.
