SEO Copywritter

We are seeking a talented SEO Copywriter and Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of on-page optimization and will be responsible for creating high-quality, engaging content that drives organic traffic and enhances our search engine rankings.  This is a full-time (flexible schedule)/ long-term independent contract.  You'll need to overlap at least 2 hours with Eastern European time.

Responsibilities:

• Optimize on-page elements (e.g., article structure, internal linking) 
• Provide clear, comprehensive on-page optimization guidelines for our writers to ensure content adheres to SEO best practices.
• Conceptualize and develop topics for guest blog posts and content assets that align with our SEO strategy.
• Edit and refine articles written by freelance writers to ensure consistency, quality, and adherence to SEO best practices.
• Proactively manage projects using Basecamp and Slack to ensure timely and efficient completion of tasks.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in SEO copywriting and editing.
• Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) like WordPress.
• Strong writing and research skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to create engaging and optimized content.
• Flexibility to write in various formats (e.g., blogs, articles, newsletters, landing pages).
• Experience with developing and managing newsletter campaigns to engage and retain our audience.
• Proficient in using SEO tools for research and analysis.
• Understanding of audience engagement and metrics.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
