WordPress Developer

We're looking for someone to join our team of nerds, rebels, and misfits (okay, we're romanticizing this a little bit, but we are a decent group of humans who enjoys what we do and like to have fun!). Our Marketing team, in particular, needs someone responsible who has strong graphic design skills, so this is our principal requirement, but you'll be reporting to our CTO and collaborating with our IT team.
These will be your responsibilities:
- Theme and visual design based on marketing ideas
- Daily maintenance and resources optimization
- Best practices and security strategies on multiple websites
- Integrations with CloudFlare and various hosting environments
Qualifications and skills that will get you far
- 3+ years of experience
- Excellent graphic design skills
- Proven work experience as a WordPress developer
- Knowledge of front-end technologies, including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5
- Excellent sense of visual aspects and ability to create designs and themes by given instructions
- Knowledge of back-end technologies, including PHP, MySQL, Apache, or NGINX
- Knowledge of Schema Markup and Structured Data
- Knowledge of best practices connected to resource optimization and DNS integration (CloudFlare)
- A/B testing experience
- Knowledge of code versioning tools, including Git
- Experience working with debugging tools such as Chrome Inspector
- Good understanding of website architecture and aesthetics
- Ability to manage projects
- Knowledge of Linux distributions (Ubuntu or CentOS) with terminal access (SSH)
- Good communication skills
- At least upper-intermediate English is required (a plus if you speak Serbian, Romanian, or Portuguese)
