Sr Network Engineer

Are you a VoIP/SIP networking specialist? If so, you must be our pro-to-call!

Yes, we’re looking for a pro to fill a Sr. Network Engineer position in our client’s Tier 3 support group. We need someone ready to apply their technical experience to provide premium customer support, as well as design and troubleshoot technical infrastructure, and advance their network product capabilities. In this position, you’ll be working with customers, internal staff and stakeholders to resolve issues.


What you’ll be responsible for:

  • Product analyses and troubleshooting initiatives with internal and external parties
  • Being the bridge between customers, engineering, lab, and support teams
  • Supporting customer initiatives to drive the product’s growth in the marketplace
  • Supporting QA programs and enabling lab device monitoring capabilities
  • Technical documentation which will be used by internal and external parties as reference material


The must-haves are:

  • Solid knowledge & experience in core networking concepts & technologies
  • Vast experience with VoIP (including SIP protocols and call management)
  • Fantastic problem solving & root cause analysis skills
  • Customer support experience
  • Experience with Linux system management and scripting or automation programming


The good-to-haves are:

  • Strong background with networking, network architecture, and enterprise-scale topologies
  • Experience with VoIP & PBX solutions (including Class 5 PBX functionality and management), SIP Trunks, porting, DIDs
  • Experience with routers, device management, and TR-069 / STUN
  • Knowledge of device Sys-logs & Sys-log servers
  • Experience with Python, scripting and/or DevOps programming is a plus
