What are the responsibilities for this position?
- Create top-notch WordPress plugins, guaranteeing they fulfill client specifications and comply with industry standards.
- Work together with the design and development teams to execute and sustain plugin functionality.
- Effortlessly incorporate third-party APIs and plugins.
- Tailor and expand WordPress functionality by utilizing ACF and Gravity Forms.
- Construct plugins from the ground up utilizing Classes and maximize adaptability and extensibility by leveraging Hooks (Actions and Filters).
- Build connections between plugins and WooCommerce to establish seamless e-commerce experiences.
- Enhance plugin performance and resolve any problems that arise.
- Stay informed about the most recent WordPress trends, industry best practices, and cutting-edge technologies.
What is required?
- 5+ years of experience in building plugins, as well as complex WordPress websites
- Solid experience building plugins that seamlessly integrate with WooCommerce
- Adept in using ACF (Advanced Custom Fields) and Gravity Forms
- Proficient in WordPress Hooks development (Filters and Actions) to customize and expand WordPress functionality
- Demonstrated proficiency in developing plugins from scratch using Classes, ensuring the production of clean and maintainable code.
- Skilled with Git for version control and collaboration
- Sound comprehension of Nginx rules and server configurations
- Familiarity with performance optimization techniques for WordPress websites
- Previous experience in working within a Docker local environment, and executing Linux commands for troubleshooting and server management
